Source Order

When a claim concerns the game itself, we prioritize Rockstar Games announcements and official platform or publisher materials. Reputable reporting can add context, but it remains reporting rather than an official confirmation. Community maps and databases are attributed to their publishers and are not presented as Rockstar products.

Labels and Uncertainty

• Official: directly stated or shown in material released by Rockstar Games.
• Reported: published by an identifiable third-party outlet; the outlet is linked.
• Community interpretation: an inference from trailers, screenshots, or community research.
• Rumor or leak: unverified material. It is not treated as fact and may be omitted when it cannot be responsibly sourced.

Corrections and Updates

We aim to correct material factual errors and update entries when authoritative information changes. A correction request should include the page, the disputed statement, and a reliable source that supports the correction. Major changes should be reflected in the page’s review date.

Images and Attribution

Game artwork, screenshots, names, and marks may belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party map data and images are credited where their license or source is known. Attribution alone does not grant permission to use copyrighted material; rights holders can request review through the contact page.

GTA VI Companion is an independent fan project, not an official Rockstar Games publication. We do not claim access to private development information.
